I take a few photos of a moment and place that inspire me. I’ll use them to compile a pencil sketch that captures the movement and the senses I felt. I then add layer after layer of color until I live the moment again.

I have always loved painting people, mostly in city scenes. However, the joy of portrait painting came with painting my children. Capturing and bringing to life their smiles and emotions is pure delight every time! 

Today, I paint them and all my other favorite people. I would love to paint yours too. Let’s make art!
